Part of white privilege is being able to say things that cause harm to people of color, and then appeal to his heart "(or hip-hop collaborations) as proof that we are not racist. Again, I'm not calling Mayer racist, but racial comments were certainly irresponsible. Next time, John, just say "Everyone has their preferences. Black women were not mine. "So no harm, no foul.As what Black people go, I worry that our outrage is connected to our constant need for approval Blanca. Why do we really care whether or not John Mayer, or any other child White, Black women want to sleep with? In any case, Black people should be more careful with white artists to which we assign "honorary Black" state.
