Dallas Snow

Dallas A rare snowfall is blanketing the city and other parts of Texas, in a strange atmosphere today, Thursday, February 11th, 2010. Dallas-area florists are facing a frightening situation.

Many people want to send Valentines flowers to his girlfriend's office on Friday. However, the National Weather Service predicts that the muddy streets of today could be covered with a sheet of hard ice tomorrow morning. Bruce McShan, owner of McShan Florist in Dallas, encourages customers to request delivery today or wait for a home birth on Saturday. Try to stay away from Friday, he advised. "If ice forecast comes to fruition, his girlfriend can not even get to the office on Friday," McShan said. "And if we have ice on the roads, not even be able to reach that position." Snow, ice and supplies just do not go together. And that includes things like pizza delivery and e-document - not just the flowers. Meanwhile, florists McShan and others are preparing floral arrangements for Valentine's Day in its stores and casting a wary glance at the window to see what the next two days to celebrate the precarious business of delivering product to customers.
