Canon T2i
We had heard Inklings, but the brand new Canon Rebel T2i (also known as the EOS 550D outside the U.S.) has just officers and oh-so-desirable. The camera has enough features of the Canon EOS 7D, including a nearly identical sensor, the selectable frame rates, and stereo microphone jack. There is also a widescreen LCD and the button layout to distinguish him from his brother T1i - to stay in the market to pick up the poorest among us, lovers of Canon. The shooter can capture 18.7 megapixel still images at 3.7 fps, with better, 7D-style measurement of light and a wider range of ISO 100 to 6400. Video is even more exciting with the addition of 30 / 25 / 24 fps and 1080p (the T1i merely a fool 20 fps in this resolution), along with 720p at 50 / 60 fps and VGA at similar speed. The camera can also make an ultra-zoom "film culture" function which actually makes the cut in the CMOS sensor to deliver about 7x zoom without losing quality in SD. The T2i will retail in March for $ 800 with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens kit for $ 900. PR is after the break.
